As a first time buyer, Emma has been the perfect combination of Professional and personal in the Surveying process. She was quick to make sure I wasn’t spending any more money than I needed to; choosing the best level of Survey in relation to the Property. The Survey itself was impeccably done, and has given me watertight grounds to query/renegotiate if I decide to. She has been happy to discuss various elements of the purchase and give an experienced opinion where appropriate. As an FTB this has been invaluable. She provided a highly detailed report including pictures and explanations of her findings. She also spent time talking through her findings with me in a way I could fully understand, putting everything into perspective and helping me to make informed decisions. We are so pleased that we employed Emma to undertake a level 3 building survey on a 1960’s property in Sussex. Her report was thorough and illustrated with clear and relevant photographs - the report had a high level of accuracy in terms of the condition of the property. She found structural issues through astute visual examinations, recommending further specialist investigations to check the cavity wall ties and drains. Specialists, using cameras and CCTV confirmed that Emma’s visual inspection was correct. Emma was very happy to discuss the issues found, making sure we understood the recommendations.
